How Gratitude Gets Your Hopes Up!

Paint Your Walls Green… Six Keys To Unlock The Power Of Positive Change.

The wall color and hand me down furniture in my home symbolized the control and influence I allowed others to have on my environment. I felt locked in to live by other peoples values and decisions. When I made some different personal choices and simple changes, I began to experience the power of positive change.

The Six Keys are:

  1. Thoughts and Self Talk
  2. Emotions
  3. Speaking
  4. Actions
  5. Physical Environment
  6. Relationships

This decision, which now represents a whole lifestyle change and not just a paint color began with the choice to create my environment and print my walls green.

To be totally authentic we must take responsibility for our decisions. Think about your own life. Look around you… do your home and workspace reflect who you really are? Or do they reflect other people’s choices? I have learned through many years of experience, how much gratitude helps.

Gratitude gets your hopes up! As you begin to practice the expression of gratitude you will raise your level of expectations. It is that level of vibration of grateful expectation and anticipation that magnetically attracts your heart’s desire. You become a deliberate creator of your bright future. And you begin to turn your life into what you want it to be. I ask you, what will you do with this information? Will you move on and say “yeah, yeah… I’ve heard and tried this before. You alone hold the power to change your life. The choice to act and experience the attraction of gratitude is before you now.

I will suggest you begin each day by spending the first moments after waking:decide on 5, 10 or 15 minutes lying there just as consciousness rises in you and you become awake and aware. Start the day by saying “Thank you for this day.” Next allow your mind to go to the area of your life that gratitude comes more easily. Be thankful for what is obvious. Dwell in the gratitude until emotion rises within you. Next allow yourself to think of the areas where you are experiencing lack—even there find something, anything that you can be thankful for. DO NOT allow yourself to slip into worry or fear. The minute you slip into worry and fear, go back to what you know you can be thankful for. Finally allow your mind to contemplate the future. Visualize in gratitude your hearts desire that you seek. Imagine as graphically as you can with grateful anticipation.
